Les Hauts de Préclaux residence is the heart of Bois Méan, the resort of Les Orres 1800. It comprises several buildings with stone and wood facades, in the middle of which you'll find a real "village square": mini-market, restaurants, bars, newsagents, souvenir and local produce stores, textile, accessories and equipment rental stores.
For your relaxation, the outdoor swimming pool is heated to 33°C and is available 6 days a week. Outside school vacations, the pool is closed on Wednesdays and during school vacations on Saturdays.

More than disappointing accommodation, the photos don't reflect reality at all! And the title in the advert "at the foot of the slopes" is inappropriate, as it refers to a view of the parking lot The price is set according to this... On arrival, we were greeted by a musty smell as we explored this tiny space (supposedly for 4-6 people, but more suitable for 4), the floor filthy and sticky. The cleanliness of the kitchen is more than questionable, with a coffee maker black with dirt, a clogged microwave, ... just like the rest of the place. The bathtub surround is dusty, 2 out of 4 (old) heaters don't work in the accommodation and a broken bedside lamp is left out. The terrace hasn't been cleaned either, there's garbage, burnt paper and other detritus...which doesn't even make you want to sit on it. Last but not least: the toilets are leaking, forcing us to take steps with the non-compliant "Hauts Préclaux" reception, who repeatedly send us the technician, who has neither the right equipment nor the parts to fix it!!!!A day's vacation wasted for nothing, i.e. it doesn't bother anyone that we have to mop the floor after every flush! We still wonder what's the point of asking customers to fill in an inventory form if they don't read it or react to observations and remarks???? Add to this the fact that parking is charged on a weekly basis (55 euros) and that the television in the apartment is also charged (29 euros)! We won't be coming back!

A magnificent view of the mountains. Too bad there are a few inconveniences, like the garbage collectors who come very, very early and make a thunderous noise several times a week. Lack of deckchairs at the pool 5 for such an important resort.... And so on. On the other hand, the environment makes us forget the little things that go wrong. Nice place for hiking
