La Chapoulière is a family campsite with 164 spacious, semi-shaded pitches, including 19 mobile homes and 10 chalets.
Set in unspoilt countryside, on the banks of the river l'Ardèche, in a calm and relaxing environment, everyone can find an activity to their liking, or the pleasures of idleness.
Presentation
Set in unspoilt countryside, La Chapoulière campsite is bathed by the river l'Ardèche, close to its famous gorges and the Pont d'Arc.
Nestled among olive groves and vineyards, far from the main roads, the campsite is a 25-minute walk from the village of Ruoms.
Pitches are marked out and shaded. In a peaceful setting, everyone will find an activity to suit their taste and the rest they so richly deserve.

To suit your every whim, we offer the following on-site facilities: heated swimming pool (with whirlpool bath and paddling pool), gym, wellness area (Spa-Hamam), grocery store (fresh bread and newspapers every morning), ice-cream parlour and bar, pizzeria, takeaway meals, a variety of entertainment, horse-riding down the Ardèche gorges....
Description of the region
The Ardèche department, a wild and picturesque territory, is a true land of escape in terms of geography, history and culture.
Discover its villages of character (Labeaume, Balazuc, Vogüe...), its Natural Park, the Gorges de l'Ardèche reserve, the Pont d'Arc, the reproduction of the famous Caverne du Pont d'Arc... A wide range of activities are available: caving, climbing, canoe/kayak or boat trips down the gorges, hiking, cycling.......
Come and spend your vacations in our 6-person house, located just a few metres from the campsite. Its two terraces, one of them shaded, will be the ideal place for convivial meals! This two-storey house has two bedrooms with a double bed (140cm) and a DOUBLE BEDROOM with two single beds (90cm), a brand-new shower room with Italian shower, a separate toilet, and a kitchenette equipped with hob, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, microwave and full crockery kit. Take advantage of the space our house has to offer, and enjoy a pleasant stay. Relax on our deckchairs and enjoy grilled meats and chipolatas cooked on a private plancha. Looking for freshness? Our cottage has air conditioning in the main room! Pets are strictly forbidden in the rentals.

Slight downside the airfield nearby. On the other hand, the young ladies at the reception are very nice and very responsive to all requests. Too bad no TV for a mobile home for 4 people, in addition Beautiful environment. Beware of tiger mosquitoes.
