The Pont du Gard*** residence is located just a few minutes from the famous Pont du Gard, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of France's "Grands Sites". The prestigious Pont du Gard is set in a magnificent 165-hectare setting at the mouth of the Gardon gorges. Let yourself be carried away by the picturesque charm of the Camargue towns of Uzès, Nîmes and Avignon.
THE RESIDENCE
A new residence opened in 2015, the Pont du Gard*** is set in an exceptional landscape just a few minutes from the famous Pont du Gard and the refreshing waters of the Gardon. It offers spacious 2- to 3-room apartments with every comfort and top-of-the-range amenities. With its outdoor swimming pool and relaxation area, the residence offers a host of activities to help you unwind.
The residence's advantages
Access to the 180 m² heated outdoor pool with integrated children's pool. Bathing attire compulsory: swimsuit or swimming trunks (shorts forbidden). Parents are responsible for their children's swimming. Open according to weather conditions.
Nearby, with participation for certain activities: Pont du Gard, archaeological museum, "Ludo" area dedicated to children, Uzès, Nîmes, Avignon, the Gardon river, "Mémoires de Garrigue" open-air trail, temporary exhibitions, signposted and well-maintained hiking and mountain-biking trails (starting from the residence), picnic areas...

A successful stay in a very recent residence, to the point of extending our stay by 4 days (7+4). However, disappointment with the closing of the pool: as the weather was still favourable, we would have liked the pool not to go into winter mode during our stay. The location of this residence is very pleasant for those who wish to visit the Pont du Gard, but also the cities of Nîmes, Avignon, Uzès, the surrounding vineyards and the Languedoc coast.

Well-designed accommodation. However, the negative points are as follows: preference for a 2-person bed in the bedroom and not 2 separate beds, many stains on bedding, basic kitchen equipment (cutlery...) no hangers. Unkempt building exterior, bedroom window opening onto a wall of earth and rock. No inventory and deposit not returned but destroyed without proof, which is very annoying.

Hello, I booked for the first time via your platform that I had been recommended. I'm going to start with the negative points that I think could be improved. A small welcome kit would be nice, the lack of cutlery and plates would avoid having to use the dishwasher every day. A broom would be useful for the terrace. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the accommodation (sticky orange stain on the toilet seat, even though disinfectant had been used, greasy kitchen credenza, and the metal strip on the bathroom credenza sticky and covered in dust, not to mention the doors with a layer of dust. The bench seat needs changing, because I honestly didn't dare sit on it. I'll finish with the positive points. The residence is very well located, a quarter of an hour's walk from the Pont du Gard. The kindness of the staff, the cleanliness of the common areas, the maintenance of the swimming pool .

Swimming pool: not enough deckchairs; wellness area: sauna and hammam much too hot (for our taste); apartment: it's a shame not to have a dustbin with a lid to avoid unpleasant odours, and an extra garbage can bag. A change of towel during the stay would have been appreciated. In terms of reception, it's a shame that the hostesses didn't inform us that we were entitled to 1 hour of wellness area per person during the week. I got the information because I insisted, saying that I'd seen on the site that if the stay lasted 7 days or more, we had free access. The positive point is the location of the residence a few hundred meters from the Pont du Gard, very easy to get there on foot. The balcony or terrace on the inside of the residence (not on the road side) is pleasant. Finally, it's surprising not to have an inventory of fixtures on arrival, as we don't know what has been noted by the staff.
