Visit the ecological reserve Ojos Indinegas : this jungle of several hundred hectares is provided with a luxuriant vegetation and several water points, perfect for swimming.

First tourist destination of the Caribbean in front of Cuba, Santo Domingo is rich in natural treasures that you will absolutely have to see. Its kilometres of white sand lined with coconut trees make it look like a postcard ! La Boca Chica in particular, 30 kilometres from the city centre, is a pretty family beach. Facing a coral reef, this quiet beach is lined with shops, restaurants and discos that come alive at nightfall. In addition to idleness, you can go scuba diving and banana boat, a kind of large inflatable mattress towed by a boat.

Leave your towel for a few moments to discover the city of Santo Domingo, especially its colonial district. Walk along its colorful streets, cross the Plaza de Espana and the covered market of Mercado Modela : located in the heart of a cosmopolitan and lively neighborhood, its stalls of tropical fruits and fresh fish will whet your appetite. The Parque Colon and the magnificent Santa Maria la Menor cathedral are also on the list of colonial splendours not to be missed during your visit to the Dominican capital.

At 2 hours drive, stop in the very tourist resort of Punta Cana : 32 kilometers long and enjoying transparent water, its beach is one of the most beautiful in the country. Facing an exotic panorama, take the time to sip a fresh coconut under a pretty parasol.

In the north of the Dominican Republic, don't miss the pretty underwater caves and peaceful lagoons that line the coast : discover Laguna Dudu, an azure blue paradise where young and old can discover the seabed and the zip line in an idyllic setting.

Further west, Puerto Plata is one of the main tourist destinations in the Dominican Republic that you should definitely visit. Its shimmering sunsets, its picturesque nature, its amazing corals but also its nautical activities as well as its courses of merengue and bachata make of it a living and impossible to circumvent place ! As for the seaside resort of Cabarete, located nearby, it will be a favourite meeting place for sportsmen, thanks to its famous kite-surfing spots.

Finally, with 32 courses scattered across the country, the Dominican Republic is a popular golf destination. One of the most beautiful grounds is undoubtedly the "Teeth of the Dog", which enjoys an ideal location, facing the sea.
