Between cultural discoveries and walks in the open air, tranquility and simplicity, this small town located about thirty kilometers south of Deauville will lead you through an amazing journey in the heart of Normandy.

In the heart of lands studded with apple trees and horses, the Pays d'Auge, Moyaux is one of those little nuggets that Normandy abounds. In the department of Calvados, a few steps from the border with the Eure, Moyaux is only a fifteen minute drive from Lisieux. Elegant as can be, like those small Norman villages that we love so much, Moyaux is rich in a marked heritage, which you will have the leisure to discover during your walks, whether they are pedestrian, equestrian or cycling. What to see? The Presbytery, a charming little Augeron manor built between the 17th and 18th centuries, or the Saint-Germain church: impossible to miss thanks to the rare originality of its bell tower dating from the middle of the 11th century, which, in addition to being high up, has the particularity of being leaning! Culminating between the rivers La Calonne and La Touques, this Norman village reveals to its visitors a very beautiful Augeron architecture, with in the heart of its charming streets beautiful sets of half-timbered houses, which give to the village an old-fashioned and historical side that we love. Our advice ? Stroll through the countryside of Moyaux to discover the farms, the stud farms, but also a few kilometers away the Castle of Val Sery, the Castle and the Gardens of Boutemont, the Castles of Morainville, of Saint-Germain-de-Livet, or even the one of Malou.

Thanks to its ideal location, only 20 kilometers from the sea, you can take advantage of your stay in Moyaux to visit the beaches of the Côte de Grâce (in Honfleur) and the wonderful Côte Fleurie (in Deauville and Trouville). Deauville is a must! With its famous "Planches", its colorful umbrellas and its long beaches, Deauville mixes elegance and conviviality with brio. Horse shows, film festivals, sea rides, swimming, water activities and gourmet breaks in the water will complete this stay in the heart of Normandy.
