The largest of them, Clermont-Ferrand, lies at the foot of the Puy-de-Dôme and seduces by the diversity of its monuments. You can admire the Romanesque basilica of Notre-Dame-du-Port, built in the 12th century, the cathedral of Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption and the Michelin Adventure Center, which recounts the history of the famous tire brand. Laroquebrou is a pretty village with an interesting super U. Ostrich farm: very interesting. Salers: pretty village. To see: Puy Mary (Cantal volcano). To discover: burons and truffade. We avoided some tourist places with paid parking, paid toilets and more than 6 € per person of elevator to go to the heights of Rocamadour: no thanks. It's a very beautiful region. Also worth seeing: the Saint-Étienne-Cantalès Dam....
