With 1200 kilometers of coastline, the Finistère offers a multitude of magical places to enjoy the sea. Between the Breton Riviera with the turquoise waters, the small wild coves and the long family beaches, you will have the choice... and the possibility to change the atmosphere every day. Ideal for lounging while admiring the landscapes, the coastline finistérien is also a privileged place to practice many water sports : sailing of course, but also the paddle, the canoe, water walking, surfing, sand yachting... And if you want a wide open sea, embark yourself to the islands at the end of the world : Ouessant, Molène, Sein to live a parenthesis out of time.
Then discover the jewels of the Finistère. At the extreme western point of Europe, visit Brest and its magnificent harbor. Inhabited since the 3rd century by the Romans, this beautiful city reserves pleasant surprises : its castle, its Tanguy tower and its ocean discovery park, Océanopolis, the most visited site of Brittany. Then go to Quimper, the capital of Cornwall, to admire its old town. Organized around the Saint-Corentin Gothic cathedral, its cobbled streets are lined with timber-framed houses that rival the charm of the Cariatides. But also go to Morlaix, Audierne, Concarneau, Landerneau and some small towns of character like Locronan, Pont-Croix or Roscoff.
During your stay, take time to appreciate the exceptional landscapes of the Finistère by walking, cycling or horseback riding. Take, for example, the Chemin des Douaniers and admire (from above) the points of Raz, Trévignon, Pen-Hir and the peninsula of Crozon. Walk the trails of the Armorique Natural Park and, at the top of Roc'h Trédudon, enjoy the superb view of the Monts d'Arrée. Pedal on the bike routes or on the mountain bike routes and on the way discover the castles of Keriolet, Kergroadez and Taurus. After a good day, regain strength by tasting all the local flavors: fish soup, langoustines, pancakes, patties, cider...
