Guarded by the remains of a Genoese tower far from the hustle and bustle of the great popular seaside resorts, the Bravone Navy is a place where it is pleasant to stroll to the rhythm of its charming and authentic alleys dotted with old stone houses with lauze roofs and many religious buildings. On the Linguizzetta side, the San Lurenzu chapel, a buried remnant of a pre-Romanesque sanctuary from the 9th century, as well as the fountain of the 5 cannons are absolutely worth seeing.
In addition to its cultural and historical remains, Bravone is a dream site for nature lovers and excursions. With its breathtaking setting and many trails, Bravone will delight walkers, climbers and fans of sporty bike rides. Through the valleys of Chiosure and Bravone, the waterfalls of the Bravone region and on the side of Mount Sant'Appianu, there are many hiking routes that you can take to discover the uniqueness of the local landscapes. The Linguizzetta - Canale-Di-Verde trail from the village fountain will take you to the wonderful "Punta Castellu" to admire its breathtaking panoramic view of the municipality, the Bravone coast and the entire eastern plain.
With its 12 kilometres of fine sand lined with fragrant eucalyptus trees, the seaside resort of Bravone is very popular with tourists who can find many beaches and coves, sometimes popular and sometimes intimate. Stretching over two kilometres of fine sand at the foot of the town of Linguizzetta, "Bravone Beach" is a real jewel, both wild and elegant. With its coastline sometimes up to 100 metres wide, this beach is particularly popular with visitors. If you come to Bravone for a family stay, then the youngest ones can swim safely thanks to the clear and shallow waters of this large expanse. And if this beach is very popular, it is not overcrowded and you can find space to sunbathe without being bothered by your towel neighbours. The beaches of Tropica and Bagheera (both naturist) are also not to be missed: bathed in absolutely wonderful turquoise water, they are worthy of postcard landscapes. To the south of the Bravone Navy, at the Riva Bella thalassotherapy centre, you will find the very beautiful "Riva Bella beach", also naturist, bordered by the Terrenzana pond. Lovers of calm and idleness will finally be able to lay their towels on the "Tallone beach", beloved by connoisseurs thanks to its island feel at the end of the world. There is a wide range of water sports activities along the coast of the Bravone seaside resort. Also, it will be possible for you to practice many sports, whether you are new to the subject or keen on sliding: everyone will find what they are looking for! On the agenda? Pawped trekking, exploratory diving in the clear waters of Bravone, sea kayaking, jet-skiing, water skiing, wakeboarding and towed buoys: something to delight young and old alike.
Finally, as Corsica is the land of fine gourmets, it will be impossible for you to leave without tasting its delicious and famous cuisine! Traditional sausages, donkey sausages, prisuttu, coppa, but also figatellu, honey, olive oil, oysters from Lake Diana, lemon or hazelnut mustard from Linguizzetta, bush, goat and sheep's cheese will be in the spotlight during your stay in Bravona.
