Nestled on the last peaks of Isère, at the edge of the first valons of Savoy, Vaujany faces the Massif des Grandes Rousses. With its 250 kilometres of ski slopes nestled between 1650 and 2800 metres above sea level on the Grand Domaine de L'Alpe d'Huez, Vaujany has all the most modern equipment for ski lovers : whether you are a beginner or experienced skier, whether you prefer relaxing skiing or, on the contrary, more sporty descents, everyone will find their happiness in the Vaujany resort. Children can discover the joys of skiing in the snow garden, on the beginner's area or on the toboggan runs. More experienced skiers will take to the slopes of slalom and alpine skiing to enjoy the thick powder which covers the snowy valleys of Vaujany, the Pic Blanc (3330 meters of altitude), the Dôme des Rousses (2800 meters) or the Col du Couard and the Col du Sabot (2100 meters). Snowboard fans will head to the Montfrais area to challenge the station's modules. Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, off-piste or cross-country skiing, telemark skiing, ice climbing and dog sledding are also available.

Go to the resort's relaxation area (108 route des Combes) to enjoy the treatments provided in its spa, and take advantage of its hammam, jacuzzi and sauna for soothing breaks, but also its swimming pool, indoor skating rink and bowling alley for family fun.
The mountain in summer is just as magical as when its peaks are dressed in their thick white coat, since it reserves for those who would venture off its beaten tracks magnificent discoveries. In Vaujany, in a preserved natural setting, the glaciers rub shoulders with the most sumptuous mountain lakes to the delight of holidaymakers, all more amazed than the others at the discovery of these magnificent panoramas. In terms of activities, outdoor sports will be in the spotlight: cycle paths, hiking on more than 90 kilometres of marked trails, excursions through the mountain passes to discover the most beautiful mountain lakes... You will be spoilt for choice to enjoy the clean mountain air. Climb to the Col du Sabot for incredible views over Vaujany, and to the summit of the Pic Blanc for breathtaking scenery on Mont Blanc, the Grand Combin, Le Grand Paradis and Les Grandes Jorasses. Those who love thrills can also go via ferrata on the slopes of the green massifs of the Grandes Rousses, notably from the Cascade de la Fare. Meet the ibexes during the "Randonnée du col de la vache", challenge the Barbarate Glacier, take the mythical GR 54 and walk around Lake Besson and Lake Belledonne. Ponies, horse or donkey rides, fishing in the high lakes, climbing, mountaineering, motorcycle rides in the Ecrins massif, rafting, paragliding, summer is definitely the right time to enjoy the benefits of the mountain. 8 kilometres from the centre of Vaujany, the Lac du Verney nautical base offers many water sports such as paddle, canoeing, windsurfing, pedal boat, fishing and boat trips.
