Between Pornichet and Guérande, La Baule-Escoublac is a unique destination that combines conviviality, chic and relaxation. On its long sandy beach, in its avenues lined with sumptuous villas, you will quickly be conquered by the charm of this elegant seaside resort.
In one of the most beautiful bays of the world, La Baule-Escoublac is distinguished by the immensity of its beach, true heart of the resort. On more than 8 kilometres of fine sand, it offers an ideal setting to stroll by the sea, to relax or to practice multiple activities : sailing, water-skiing, kayaking, paddle, kitesurfing, jet-ski... Children and teenagers can also learn these water sports in the many clubs installed on the beach. Continue your discovery of La Baule-Escoublac by a walk along its pine lined avenues. You will discover majestic villas built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The city counts nearly 1500 classified as having an architectural interest : you will be impressed by the eclecticism of their style which reminds more the origin of their first owner (coming from Provence, Savoy, Brittany, Normandy, Basque Country...) than a local label. Your walk can then take you to the Bois d'Amour which offers a discovery tour of the fauna and flora, to the Tropicarium Bonzaï, unique in France, and to the Aeronautical Museum where you can admire many restored models of aircraft that have marked the history of aviation.
