Restaurant La Pause in Cajarc. Local and quality products, classic dishes well prepared, attentive and friendly staff, very good value for money. To recommend for a pleasant and unpretentious lunch.

Good plans : villages of Cajarc, St Cyr Lapopie, Gouffre de Padirac, Cahors, Rocamadour... A very good restaurant-brewery: "Le Président"; a pleasant tourist office in Cajarc; beautiful and regional landscapes: ideal to relax and get some fresh air ! To be recommended without hesitation !

Visit Cajarc thanks to the leaflet provided at the Tourist Office. A must to do to discover this pretty village from the inside.

We enjoyed a ride on the Oxoon (an electric pleasure boat) on the Cajarc lake (a discount is also available for residents of the Domaine des Cazelles). The market on Saturday afternoon allowed us to buy our melons, tomatoes and others... for a few days.

Nautical base nearby: many activities possible (canoe, pedal boat, paddle, boat without licence). Numerous sites to visit in the surroundings: Padirac, Rocamadour, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Cahors, Lacave caves, Pech Merle cave.

A small passage "Chez Moulino" for a good local tasting. Take a canoe trip on the Cele river and (not to be forgotten) the visit of the Padirac chasm (reservation by internet to be anticipated).

Do not miss the visit of Pech Merle and many other sites (St Cirq Lapopie, Les Phosphatières, various Castles). 2 nice tables in Cajarc: "Jeu de Quilles" and "La Bohème", and a lake (kayak, pedal boats, paddle, etc for walks on the Lot).
