Listed in 2005 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for the modernity of its construction, Le Havre, destroyed during the Second World War, has since taken its revenge. The Fort of Tourneville, but also the maritime villa, the hanging gardens and the Vauban docks in particular are a good example. But the most astonishing work of Le Havre is certainly the Volcan: imagined by Oscar Niemeyer, this cultural center opened in 1982 is THE meeting point of culture thanks to its theaters which gather many amateurs of music, theater, dance, circus and new aesthetics every year.

We advise you, during the day as well as at nightfall, to climb to the 17th floor of the City Hall tower to appreciate from the heights a breathtaking panorama on Le Havre! You will discover the avenue Foch, the two towers of the Porte Océane, the lantern tower of the Saint-Joseph church, the Montgeon forest, the Rouelles park, all this with a view on the sea!

Ah, the sea... Right at the end of the tramway line, the sea is without a doubt THE star of Le Havre. At 800 meters from the city center, it is decorated with its most beautiful colors when the sunny days come thanks to small colored bathing cabins. Finally, it is impossible to visit Le Havre (on foot or by bike, by the way!) without stopping by its port.
