After having enjoyed the softness of the Mediterranean, take the time to visit the resort. Saint-Aygulf developed at the end of the 19th century and preserves superb Belle Époque villas from this period. Discover also the superb botanical garden Aréca which shelters an oak grove, a pine forest, a bamboo grove and a palm grove surrounded by Mediterranean lawn. Then go to the historic centre of Fréjus, classified as a city of art and history, to appreciate its rich heritage. From its former status as a Roman colony, Fréjus has preserved an ancient amphitheatre, aqueduct and theatre. But other more recent monuments also deserve your attention : the cathedral Saint-Léonce, the bishopric and its Romanesque cloister, the town hall dating from the 14th century...

Then leave, on foot or by bike, on the many paths that cross Saint-Aygulf. The most famous is undoubtedly the path of the customs officers which skirts the coast and makes it possible to discover small creeks and the famous calanques. But others will lead you towards the ponds of Villepey, ancient delta of the most important river of the Var, the Argens, or towards the Maures massif, vast forest zone covered with cork oaks, chestnut trees and Aleppo pines. During your walks, take the time to take gourmet breaks at the local producers and taste the flavours of the South : fish, anchovies, olives, honey, Côtes de Provence, Pavés du Cloître...

Family resort with everything you need without the need to travel by car, except to go to the Lunapark water park and others (few kms to do).

For a stay in August there is a lot to do: the fair and its many rides, city festivities, shows of big American cars.... Fréjus (5 minutes by car) is very lively in the evening, like Saint Aygulf. Stroll on the beach, cycling, water activities...

To do: the towed buoy exit at sea. It is necessary to visit the coast towards Les Issambres, it is magnificent, there are very nice coves.

Saint Aygulf beach (with shower) 15 min by bike. A tip: park in the streets of the resort and end up walking because beach parking is charged everywhere. Saint Tropez at 30 km (45 min drive because bcp bcp of world in July). Ramatuelle, Pampelonne: same. Drive to Luna Park and Aqualand at the entrance to Fréjus (get a "Luna Pass" from the park's shops for a reduced rate for attractions).
