Along its 11 kilometres of coastline, Sainte-Maxime offers a diversity of shores to satisfy all desires. Families will spend unforgettable moments on the long sandy beach of La Nartelle. Those who prefer not to get too far from the heart of the resort, its entertainment and its many shops, can relax on the beach downtown. And if you wish a little more quietness, go towards the point of Sardinaux where wonderful small coves will incite you to idleness or diving. To spend yourself, you will also have the embarrassment of the choice so much the resort proposes nautical activities : sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, paddle, jet-ski...
Even if the beauty of the Côte d'Azur will engage you to stay long hours at the seaside, also take the time to discover Sainte-Maxime and the inland. First, take a walk in the centre of the village where old Provençal houses and more recent buildings live together. Enjoy the many villas and other achievements built by René Darde in the 1920s : villa la Croisette, the Clos de la Madrague, the Casino... Then climb to the top of the Tour Carrée, built in the 16th century, and enjoy a panoramic view of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Also go for a walk on the lively quays of the marina, which has been one of the city's emblematic sites since the 18th century.
Then enjoy the backcountry by taking the many trails that criss-cross Sainte-Maxime. Among these, the Mimosa road offers you a pleasant route between the coast and forest massifs. Recommended from January to March to appreciate the flowering of the plant, it allows you to discover, throughout the year, activities related to this pretty yellow flower : culture, perfumery, gastronomy... This route also offers you the opportunity to visit the beautiful cities near Sainte-Maxime : Bormes-les-Mimosas, Saint-Raphaël, Mandelieu-la-Napoule... On the way, make a few gourmet stops to taste the local flavours : olive-based products and dishes, brandade, aïoli, Provence wines...

Restaurant brasserie "Entrepotes" very good: good food and good reception. Take the shuttle to St Tropez: very practical. Beautiful beach : the one of Montfleuri.

Very close to Saint Tropez, Frejus and St Raphaël. We visited the Gendarmerie Museum in St Tropez and the Louis de Funès Museum.

Restaurant "La Réserve". Another good plan: take the green shuttle to St Tropez and enjoy for 1.40€ in addition to the visit of Les Canoubiers.
