Take Boulevard de la Libération and its alleys in the shade of hundred-year-old plane trees and continue your visit towards the square of June 16, 1940. You will discover its fountain and beautiful flowered alleys, ideal for strolling. Watered by the Faible, the Grande Sorgue, the Riallet and the Canal de Vaucluse, the commune has many banks and banks where you will love to walk for beautiful excursions to the freshness of its waterways. As for the visits, the old paper mill of Gromelle and the washhouse of 1868 are not to be missed, as well as the chapel of the Penitents of the 17th century, the oratory of the Vow of War, the church of Saint-Saturnin and the oratory of Saint-Joseph in the east.
The surroundings of the village offer a wide range of activities for young and old: canoeing, kayaking, fishing, mountain biking, horseback riding and hiking will delight lovers of the great outdoors. The "Les Halles d'Avignon" trail (16.3 kilometres), the Saint-Saturnin mountain bike trail (35 kilometres), but also the Saint-Saturnin route through the Moulin (6 kilometres) and the Saint-Saturnin Heights trail (17 kilometres) are among the most popular routes in the area to discover some of the most beautiful views over the Ventoux, Avignon and its region. 10 kilometres from the heart of the municipality, Lake Monteux will satisfy families with its beaches, swimming areas, deckchairs, playgrounds, pedal boats, paddles and kayaks.
A crossroads of many essential tourist destinations, Saint-Saturnin will allow you to discover some of the most beautiful sites in Provence. Not far away, Avignon, its city of the Popes and its famous bridge, but also the Caves of Thouzon, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Carpentras, the Pont du Gard, Arles and the Beaux-de-Provence are worth a visit.
