Corralejo is located on the island of Fuerteventura, in the Canary Islands. A paradise destination, with its dream beaches and numerous activities for young and old, the town is the place to be for holidaymakers who love fine sand and turquoise water.

Located opposite the Isla de los Lobos (Island of Wolves), in the northeast of the island of Fuerteventura, Corralejo surprises by the splendour of its coastline. Organized around its peaceful city centre, Plaza Publica, Corralejo is a typical Canary Islands city. With its beautiful colourful houses, its small squares lined with stone benches and its earthenware tiles, Corralejo is one of those places that in an instant can make you fall in love. Although it is also affected by mass tourism with the arrival of large hotels near its beaches, Corralejo remains a destination of character. Calle Anzuelo or Avenida Nuestra Señora del Carmen in particular will allow you to discover the charms of the city while shopping in the shade of its palm trees.
Stroll along the Paseo Maritimo lined with cafés and restaurants, and finally reach the gates of the Corralejo Dunes Natural Park, one of the island's most beautiful treasures. Although it is one of the most popular seaside resorts in the Canary Islands, Corralejo is also home to this wonderful natural area, well known to hiking enthusiasts. Only a few kilometres from the heart of the city, this semi-desert Eden, which looks like a small Sahara, is made up of large dune areas, dotted with a variety of flora and fauna, typical of desert areas. Ideal for hiking or motorized excursions, the Corralejo Dunes Natural Park offers incomparable views of the mountains, but also of the coast and Lobos Island from its coastal paths.
From the port of Corralejo, we recommend taking a ferry to Lobos Island, which is only a 15-minute boat ride away. With its volcanic landscapes, dream beaches and crystal clear water, this island is one of the highlights of your stay in Corralejo. Small in size but great in its interest, Lobos Island is easily visited on foot, via more or less developed trails that will allow you to walk around it in less than a day. From its small port to the slopes of La Caldera, which dominates the island, the panoramas are breathtaking!
But what makes Corralejo so popular is certainly the splendour of its beaches. Each one more idyllic than the other, they attract holidaymakers in winter and summer in search of idleness on its golden sand. Playa Del Muelle Chico, Playa Las Clavellinas and Playa de Las Agujas are probably the most popular. A little further on, in the protected area of the Dunes of Corralejo, you will find the most beautiful beaches: nicknamed the "Grandes Playas de Corralejo", they border on 11 kilometres of white sand a turquoise water to be damned. From Playa del Médano to Playa el Bajo Negro and Playa Alzada, you will be amazed by the magnificence of these extraordinary places. Finally, in addition to sunbathing, you can opt for a session of surfing, diving, windsurfing, sailing or kitesurfing.
