Ideally located in the heart of the Espace Diamant, the Savoyard resort of Notre Dame de Bellecombe is a charming destination for holidays in the hollow of the mountains. In all, 158 runs (30 green, 49 blue, 69 red and 10 black) are available to you, spread between Flumet and the summit of Mont du Vorès (2069 metres, accessible by the chairlift Douce and Plan des Fours). Whether you are fond of skiing, snowshoeing or surfing, you will be able to enjoy your favourite activities in complete tranquility. In addition to the traditional alpine skiing sessions with panoramic views over some of the most beautiful snow-capped peaks in the Alps, you will also be able to cross-country ski thanks to an 8-kilometre loop with free access not far from the Mont Rond chairlift : between forests, mountain farms and mountain pastures, this itinerary is truly superb. 6 snowshoe itineraries adapted to all levels criss-cross the resort of Notre Dame de Bellecombe, on the side of "Mont Rond", the protected site of "Covetan", at "Fay", as well as on the side of "Lachat" and the "Col du Drayon". As for itinerant skiing, the "Saute-Mouton" itinerary is one of the resort's unmissable, thanks to its panoramas of anthology on the Pierra Menta, the Mont-Blanc and the Avaris. Throughout the winter, on the site of "Plan Last", in the heart of the forest, you can let yourself be tempted by a dog sled ride, or by an initiation to sleigh driving pulled by Husky. Ski joëring with a horse, sledging, ice skating, glacier hiking... So many ideal activities for young and old. The resort also has several snowparks, boardercross and play areas on Mount Reguet and Mount Rond, accessible to beginners and experienced freeriders. For an original outing, the domain also offers an illuminated piste for night skiing, a fun experience to share with the whole family ! With several labels including "Station Village", "Grand Domaine" and "Nouvelles Glisses", Notre Dame de Bellecombe offers holidaymakers many original and very popular activities, such as Fat Bike (electric mountain bike on snow), snowscoot (BMX des neiges), yooner (toboggan with skates), or snowbike. You will also be able to go snake-gliss for moments of crazy laughter in family, or, for the contemplatives, to live the experience of a baptism of paragliding in solo or in duo, or to make an excursion in hot-air balloon above the Mont-Blanc and in front of the Val d'Arly.
Finally, mountain lovers on sunny days can also enjoy a wide choice of activities if they choose to pack their suitcases at Notre Dame de Bellecombe once the snow has melted and the mountain pastures are tinged with a brilliant green. Several walking loops accessible at all levels criss-cross the mountains : the "Ban Rouge" loop, the "Mont de Vorès" loop or the "Réguet" loop are among the most beautiful walks to take with friends or family, wearing good hiking shoes of course. In addition to hiking and cycling, you can opt for mini-golf, tobogganing on rails, river fishing, or guided tours through the resort and its traditional farms. As for water activities, you should know that there is a swimming lake in the commune of Flumet: diving, inflatable games, picnics and sunbathing will be on the programme. The most adventurous among you can also go canyoning in the Belle aux Bois canyon, rafting, hydrospeed, climbing or via ferrata.
