Nestled in the heart of the Tarentaise Valley in the heart of Savoie, the Vallandry resort extends close to the forest. Its independent chalets and charming houses immediately plunge visitors into a mountain holiday atmosphere. Perched at an altitude of 1600 metres, the resort even offers a glimpse of the Mont Blanc range. In the city centre, a multitude of small pedestrian squares group together shops and restaurants ready to welcome the curious who stroll there.
The Peisey-Vallandry ski area has a considerable asset: its favourable sunshine throughout the year. Even in winter, the softness of the sun caresses the slopes of its two resorts. But that's not his only strength. The Nordic site gives access to incomparable activities: ice climbing, dog sledding, cross-country skiing... You should also know that the cable car network called Vanoise Express connects Peisey-Vallandry to the resorts of Les Arcs and La Plagne. The three resorts form the Paradiski domain which, true to its name, is a real treasure for skiers. 425 kilometres of slopes of all levels, snowparks for skiers and snowboarders... Enough to make winter sports lovers want !
In Vallandry, the Baudet Malin takes you to the Far North with an unusual activity : a walk with reindeer ! In the magical setting of Rosuel's plateau, discover four reindeer that are both mysterious and playful during a magical walk that you will never forget.
The mountains are not just for winter holidays ! The proof with the numerous summer activities proposed by the Bureau des guides et accompagnateurs de Vallandry. Via ferrata on the modern routes of the Haute Tarentaise, climbing on the natural walls, canyoning through the torrents which slide in the hollow of the mountain... With the supervision of qualified professionals, no more reason to be afraid, we let ourselves be tempted by these sensations sports. And to recover from his emotions, do not hesitate to go hiking to get closer to the alpine fauna and flora.
Vallandry is also the perfect place for little gourmets. The inescapable Palace du Chocolat enchants all sweet lovers. In this atypical little shop, the choice will make you fall backwards. It starts with about fifteen different hot chocolates to taste. Then, we launch out on the fifty types of chocolates to crunch, all as delicious as the others. The delicacies of the Palace do not stop there : sweets, home-made ice creams and nougats are also up to date. We then go to Trapoun to discover or revisit the flavors of Savoy. Comfortably installed on the snow front, this charming family restaurant serves a menu composed essentially of Savoyard specialities. We put you at ease in a room with a typical mountain decor. For lunch, Le Trapoun serves a delicious savoyard burger that satisfies all appetites. A real delight !

Superb snowshoeing and cross-country skiing on a very large area. The sun was there fortunately for these activities. Beautiful ski area which unfortunately was closed.
