On the right bank of the Siagne, between the sea and the mountains, lies the village of La Roquette-sur-Siagne. In the western part of the Alpes-Maritimes, it is the perfect place to settle down and enjoy the charms of the French Riviera, without the crowds.
Located 9 kilometers from the beaches of the Gulf of Napoule and Cannes, the village of La Roquette-sur-Siagne sits on a hill overlooking the sea. Offering its visitors a wide panorama from Théoule-sur-Mer to the harbor of Cannes, this island of greenery and serenity brilliantly blends tradition and elegance. With its old houses all covered with stone, its warm colors and its abundant vegetation contrasting with the blue sky, La Roquette-sur-Siagne is, one can say, a village of character. Pass by its large shady square, planted with tall plane trees, a place where the "old-timers" gather to chat, and the entire village during summer celebrations around the communal bread oven. The Compostelle path that crosses the village will allow you to discover the Saint-Jean chapel, while the Béal walk will be perfect to visit the surroundings of the village along the Béal canal. But if there is one place that is really, REALLY worth the detour, it is the town of Grasse, located about ten kilometers north of La Roquette-sur-Siagne. Capital of perfume, renowned for its architecture, the quality of its air and the splendor of its panoramas, Grasse, City of Art and History, medieval city, flatters the taste buds and nostrils of its visitors in many ways. On the table side, fassum, tapenade, chard pie, croustis and other fougassettes will not fail to delight the whole family, while on the nose side, the numerous perfumeries that have taken up residence in the village will delight the unconditional fans of luxury perfumery. Gardens, fields of flowers, oil mills, fountains and oratories will complete your visit. A little further south, exactly 9 kilometers from the heart of the village of La Roquette-sur-Siagne, is Cannes, which will not fail to put glitter in the eyes of young and old. Its famous Croisette, its magnificent beaches, its numerous restaurants and stores are a must for your stay. In addition to lazing on the white sand of this famous seaside resort, you can swim in crystal clear water, go parasailing, go for a boat ride, a stand up paddle session, kayaking, scuba diving, sailing, surfing, jet-skiing, wakeboarding, kitesurfing, and many other activities that will undoubtedly be the icing on the cake of your vacation in La Roquette-sur-Siagne
