Between Deauville and Houlgate, Villiers-sur-Mer invites you to enjoy the beauty of the Côte Fleurie and the serenity of the Normandy countryside. In this preserved natural setting, your holidays will be placed under the sign of well-being and discovery.
Like other seaside resorts, Villiers-sur-Mer owes its development to the enthusiasm of artists who fell under the spell of places like the painters Paul Huet and Constant Troyon who frequented this small corner of the Normandy coast around the 1850s. Shortly afterwards, the resort became popular with high society in Paris and many villas were built. Walking along the seaside, you can admire sumptuous seaside residences dating from the Second Empire and the Belle Époque. But also discover the Saint-Martin church, a true neo-Gothic masterpiece, listed as a historical monument, and the station's emblem : a 7-metre-high, 12-metre-long vegetal dinosaur that seems to watch the coast.
After this discovery of the resort, enjoy the beautiful beach of fine sand, 2 kilometers long and decorated with pretty white cabins. Ideal for building sand castles with your children and for swimming, it also invites you to enjoy the joys of the sea in many other ways : sailing, sand yachting, sea kayaking, fishing on foot... At the western end of the beach of Villiers-sur-Mer, then go discover the Black Cows, cliffs whose height can reach more than 100 meters and which extend up to Houlgate. Besides their grandiose beauty, these cliffs are also an important site for palaeontological discoveries, the most important of which are exhibited at the Paléospace l'Odyssée museum.
If you are a hiking or mountain biking enthusiast, you will also be delighted by the diversity of the trails that criss-cross Villiers-sur-Mer and its surroundings. During your walks, you will be able to discover the natural park of the Villiers-Blonville marsh, a true haven of peace, and the beauty of the bocage of the Pays d'Auge. But also take advantage of your stay to discover the landing beaches and the other beautiful seaside resorts of the Côte Fleurie : Deauville, Houlgate, Cabourg, Dives-sur-Mer... The "Falaise des Vaches Noires" is a beautiful walk to do. Villers is a small town, pretty and welcoming. To recommend: the restaurant "La Digue", we eat very well and in a very warm setting (by the fireplace, it was perfect!).

Interesting location not far from Deauville/Trouville, Houlgate, Cabourg and Honfleur, enough to discover Normandy. A nice walk from Houlgate to Cabourg, a pleasant city centre. We ate in a small restaurant very nice and very good in Trouville: "Le Petit Bouchon"!
