In Proissans, there are many routes, accessible to both pedestrians and mountain bikers, which you can take to enjoy magnificent panoramas over the Perigord countryside. The 12-kilometre long "Les Sangliers" hiking loop will be ideal to lead you through the rich heritage of Proissans, made up of mills, dovecotes and calvaries in number. Other trails will take you through the superb valleys of the Énéa and Massoulie rivers, while others will lead you straight to the Proissans pond, adored by walkers and fishermen who come here to seek calm and serenity. Sarlat, the emblematic medieval town of the Dordogne, is also a must to do during your stay in Proissans: in the heart of the Causses du Quercy, this city classified as one of the most beautiful in France multiplies magnificent classified sites, from its Carolingian Benedictine abbey to its manors and castles.
