On the legendary Cap Sizun, in the department of Finistère, the commune of Primelin is close to Audierne and the Pointe du Raz. Located in an environment more than conducive to escape and rejuvenation, Primelin is undoubtedly a wonderful idea for a family or romantic holiday. And how, yes how, can you not fall in love with these places? In the heart of the magnificent Bay of Audierne, this small village on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean is unconditionally turned towards the sea. Authentic as can be, this quiet village, far from the hustle and bustle of the big Breton seaside resorts, has managed to remain deeply rooted in the character of the region, with its preserved nature and its picturesque charm. Here, the history of the town can be read in its stones, so it is impossible to miss the character of Primelin's architecture, which attracts many visitors every year. What to see? Without hesitation, the 18th century Saint-Primel church, built in a baroque style using stones from the old village church, or the 17th century Saint-Théodore chapel and the Lézurec chapel built during the 17th century. But if there is a religious building that you must discover during your visit to Primelin, it is undoubtedly the chapel of Saint-Tugen. Built during the 16th century in place of an old chapel of the 12th century, it amazes by its high monumental tower of nearly 30 meters high, nothing less, and can be admired from everywhere in the village like a small local Eiffel Tower. In addition to a marked religious heritage, Primelin is Brittany in its purest form, thanks to its beautiful stone houses and elegant residences, such as the manor of Lézurec.

To discover Primelin from every angle, there is nothing better than to opt for hiking. Whether on foot, on horseback or by bike, the whole family will certainly find something to do. Our advice? Go for a walk along the GR 34! The most famous of all the walking routes, this long-distance footpath runs along the entire Breton coast and will take you through some of the most beautiful landscapes that the Cap Sizun has to offer. From Porstarz to the Loc'h cove, passing by the Pointe de Castel, the Pointes du Mouton, Plogoff, Pors Loubous, the Port and Pointe de Feunteun Aod, Porzan and the Port de Bestrée, to finally land on the Pointe du Raz, the tip of Brittany, the landscapes are breathtaking (yes, literally, as it is well known that here, it is windy!). Offering to contemplate a panorama like no other, between land and sea, with jagged rocks, a sea often agitated and sunsets dazzling with beauty, the Pointe du Raz is a must, a must of your stay in Primelin, to admire in the morning, during the day, or at sunset, for a spectacle always more amazing. Finally, from the marina of the town, you can go to sea for a fishing session or a contemplative stroll, but also learn a lot of nautical activities according to your desires. The beach of Loc'h will perfect your desires for swimming, idleness, bucolic walks and sandcastle competitions, in a preserved and calm environment, ideal for meditating facing the sea.
