In the heart of the Brière Regional Natural Park, just a few kilometres from the border with Morbihan, lies the commune of Sainte-Reine-de-Bretagne. Located in the Loire-Atlantique department, 25 minutes from Saint-Nazaire, La Baule and Guérande, this historic town will fascinate lovers of beautiful stones as well as sea lovers.

To discover Sainte-Reine-de-Bretagne, the best thing to do is to discover its heritage. Its ancient history goes back to Prehistory as evidenced by the presence of many megalithic monuments on its land. Although most of them have now disappeared, there are still some beautiful testimonies, such as the Marhé tumulus and the dolmen of La Roche aux Fées. Take the time to discover its old fountain dating from the mid-18th century, located right next to the current town hall, before passing by the old forge in the rue Pierre et Marie Curie, the 17th century cross in the church square and the parish calvary. Drive along the road to Pontchâteau to see the old windmills called the "Moulins de la Fortune" before finally discovering the magnificent Château de Crévy located on the road to Missillac, and the Château du Deffray located on the edge of the forest.
