Between Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue and Barfleur, on the Normandy coast, Réville treats its visitors all year round. A gourmet, natural and elegant land, this small town, all turned towards the sea, is the ideal place to plant your parasol for a change of scenery holiday.

To the north-west of the Cotentin peninsula, in the department of Manche, Réville is particularly appreciated by visitors for its geographical location. Here, all life is turned towards the sea, the sea which can be seen almost everywhere in the town. A real jewel, Réville is small in size but great in interest. No doubt you will be surprised by the number of its sites that are worth a visit; to start with, nothing better than leaving your car in the garage to prefer a walking or cycling tour, depending on your desires. Take the time to stroll in the heart of the village, made of old houses absolutely typical of Norman architecture, recognizable by their very old grey stones. Numerous manor houses have flourished in the town over the centuries. The one in Crasvillerie is worth seeing, as is the manor of Houguet, both built during the 16th century and classified as Historic Monuments. Pass by the château de Réville, also listed, without forgetting to stop off at the Saint-Martin church. Famous for its high point, it is also famous for the many valuables and other paintings it houses. The visit of Réville finally continues on the side of the old redoubt and the Saint-Eloi chapel, which complete the inventory of the monuments to be visited while passing through Réville.

But what undeniably attracts you to Réville is its coastline. Facing due south (a rare exception in Normandy!), the town's beach stretches along the English Channel for several kilometres. Our advice before going for a swim: take the time to walk along the coast. From the Pointe de Landemer to the Pointe de Saire, via the estuary of the eponymous river, the Anse de la Mare and the Pointe de Fouly, you will discover all that makes the splendour of the Normandy coastline. After discovering the remains of a Viking necropolis on the beach, you can enjoy the calm of Jonville beach for a few sunny breaks. Sunshine at the rendezvous, beach bar and turquoise water will perfect these moments on the clear sand. In addition to lazing around, lovers of water sports can let themselves be tempted by a session of surfing, sailing, optimist, kitesurfing or finally by discovering the coast by boat or paddle, for unforgettable holidays in the Cotentin.
