The Tarentaise Valley is famous for its ski resorts, all more pleasant than the other. The time of a stay, make stopover in one of the most family of them : La Tania, Savoie. Located at an altitude of 1400 metres in the commune of La Perrière, the resort is easily accessible and is only a few ski lifts from Courchevel and Méribel. La Tania belongs to the largest ski area in the world, the Trois Vallées ski area.

Once a week in winter, the slopes of the resort are illuminated so that holidaymakers can enjoy the joys of the mountain during a night ski trip: a great activity for the whole family !
La Tania is very popular with sports and nature lovers, thanks to its ideal location and protected environment. Its unique landscapes and immense spruce forest will delight walkers and snowshoe hikers. For a walk off the beaten track, venture onto the wooded trails that cross its fir forest to enjoy a breath of fresh, invigorating air. Take the direction of the Teppes clearing to enjoy a quiet picnic with family or friends. Classified "Natural Area of Ecological, Faunistic and Floristic Interest", this superb forest is the perfect place for a walk, snowshoeing or even horse riding. Cross-country skiers will be able to enjoy several routes through this forest : for example, an 18-kilometre trail will allow the most experienced skiers to reach the resort of Méribel.
Finally, after a long day on skis, take the time to relax in the jacuzzi, pool, spa or sauna before enjoying a good meal in the local colours : tartiflette, reblochon, fondue savoyarde and other raclette will conquer the finest gourmets.
