The last resort of the Plagne, Plagne Soleil was born in 1990 at an altitude of 2,050 meters, and its village punctuated by cute small chalets and cozy residences welcomes sportsmen and lovers of the mountains in search of tranquility. Ideal for families, it is part of the La Plagne ski area which connects a large number of resorts suitable for beginners and advanced skiers alike There are 225 kilometers of marked trails and multiple off-trail routes for all levels.
Want to discover the Savoyard landscapes ? Come cross the snowy plateau of Dou du Praz in dog sleds. Supervised by a professional musher, a sleigh driven by 7 to 10 dogs leads you to the closest snow-covered nature. If this unforgettable experience is not enough for you, you will surely be tempted by an introduction to driving. With the reins in hand, let the best friends of the man guide you safely. Facing the massif of Beaufortain and the Mont-Blanc, you will feel like the Far North in this activity full of sensations ! In the summer, the pack finds you for cani-randos on the marked trails that surround the village. The principle : you wear a belt that is connected to the harness of a dog (often a Sulky) for hikes of 8 to 10 kilometers through the green territory of the Plagne. A magical moment to spend with the dogs who will help you in the efforts and will share with joy the beauty of the natural landscapes.
After a tiring day of sport, come and recharge your batteries at the igloo village of Plagne Soleil. This little snow paradise seems straight out of a film for children. You will be warmly welcomed, warm drink in hand, before visiting this magical village. You will then sit by the fireplace to enjoy a good meal with regional flavors under the stars and with views of Mont Blanc. Gourmands will not miss a visit to the "Cap Nord", a charming crêperie located in the center of Plagne Soleil. A small break at the end of the day or a good meal, its homemade sweet or savory pancakes will not leave you hungry. Also worth noting is the large menu that will satisfy all desires, especially vegetarians who will find with pleasure a wide choice of dishes.
