Between Les Sables d'Olonne and La Tranche-sur-Mer, Longeville-sur-Mer is one of the most pleasant seaside resorts in the Vendée. Facing the Atlantic Ocean, you can enjoy all the nautical pleasures but also discover a land rich in history and activities.
With its 7 km coastline, Longeville-sur-Mer invites you first of all to enjoy the ocean on one of its three fine sandy beaches : The Conches, The Rock or The Bouil. Ideal for swimming, relaxing in the sun and fishing on foot, you can also practice many nautical activities there : surfing, bodyboard, paddle, sailing, sand yacht... Then set off to discover the village and its heritage: the Notre-Dame church (12th century) which combines Romanesque and Baroque styles, the Russelet menhir, 3.80 metres high, the Rabouillères mill, built in 1819, and the old stone bridge of the hamlet of the Nursery.
Located on the northern edge of the Poitevin marsh, Longeville-sur-Mer is also a privileged holiday resort to discover this very special natural site. Starting from the Maison du Marais, an educational circuit offers you the opportunity to enjoy, by boat or canoe, the charm of its canals shaped by man for over 1000 years. Nature lovers can extend their walk or cycle along the many marked trails that criss-cross the coastal forest and hinterland. Some of these paths will lead you to the many megaliths that our distant ancestors erected over 3000 years ago and that earned this small region around Longeville-sur-Mer the nickname "Carnac vendéen".
Less than ten kilometres from Longeville-sur-Mer, many other activities are available. For example, go to Bernard, a neighbouring commune, to have fun in its two amusement parks : the Indian Forest and O'Gliss Park. Discover then, in Avrillé, the Château des Aventuriers which proposes playful courses within a Renaissance castle and its park of 86 hectares. You can also take a sea trip from La Tranche-sur-Mer to admire Île de Ré, Île d'Aix and the famous Fort Boyard. But also take advantage of your stay to taste the products of the soil : seafood, salicorne, mogettes vendéennes, prepu, brioche and waste...

Escape Game in virtual reality at La Roche sur Yon : very original. "Le Grand Défi" : a very nice adventure park where the whole family will find something for everyone. The accompanied ride on an electric scooter is very pleasant.

If you want to try surfing, the "Esprit surf" school on the beach of Le Rocher is great. The restaurant "La Bédame" serves you hamburgers, pizzas and other quality dishes.
