What stands out when visiting Telde is above all its important historical capital. Its archaeological remains are one of its most beautiful jewels: Tara, Cendro, Baladero, Tufia and Cuatro Puertas are among its most famous archaeological sites. The latter in particular is really worth a visit: on this occasion, you can discover a site made up of several impressive caves, which will allow you to plunge into history, from the time when Telde was still a kingdom (14th century). Perched on the Bermeja mountain, about twenty minutes walk from the city centre, this majestic site promises magnificent panoramic views of the eastern plain and the blue sea. If there is another site to see absolutely in Telde, it is the Bufadero de la Garita: located by the sea, this amazing natural phenomenon is one of the island's greatest attractions. Sometimes called "blower hole" or "maritime geyser", it results from the movement of the strong waves that swirl on the rocks (with surprising shapes) that line the Telde coast. In addition to being able to observe this geyser in Telde, you can also see it by going to Hawaii, Kiama in Australia or Tahiti.

The coast of Telde is certainly its most beautiful asset: long, surprising, mysterious or secret, the beaches of the town will not leave you insensitive.
