Perched between 300 and 500 metres above sea level in the southwest of the island of Tenerife, Palm-Mar is one of those sunny destinations perfect for a change of scenery.

Located on one of the most beautiful islands in the Canary Islands, Palm-Mar is a charming seaside resort, appreciated for its picturesque character. With its village dotted with pretty traditional houses with large stone terraces, Palm-Mar offers an ideal setting for holidaymakers seeking peace and quiet.

Palm-Mar is a destination with very good sunshine all year round and is very popular for its many hiking routes. Through its alleys, along its beaches, along the paths of the Teide National Park and the surrounding villages, you can discover all the splendours of this little corner of nature. We particularly recommend the walking routes that criss-cross the "Montana Chayofita", or those of the "Montana Guaza": absolutely magnificent, this protected site is one of the largest volcanic areas on the island. You can visit its caves, discover its fertile lands, craters and steep paths, and finally reach the top of this 400-metre high mountain. From its heights, it offers impressive views of the sea and the surroundings of Palm-Mar.

For families, the "Monkey Park Tenerife" is particularly recommended: this small zoo, located a few minutes from the centre of Palm-Mar, has a large number of lemurs and marmosets, which the children can feed themselves. You can also see chimpanzees, but also cockatoos, macaws, toucans, crocodiles and turtles.

On the idleness side, Palm-Mar will allow you to take long breaks under the legendary Canary sun. The beach "La Arenita" in particular, is located a few minutes from the centre of Palm-Mar. With its black sand and breakwater, it conquers the hearts of families who come to enjoy its calm waters. In addition to the latter, Palm-Mar does not really have beaches as such, but rather many small creeks at low tide below the chiringuitos along the coastal path. To practice water sports, you will have to head for the neighbouring town of Los Cristianos: boat trips, sailing, surfing, fly fish, paddle, jet-skiing around the island, water skiing, parasailing or kayaking... You will have understood, there will be something for all tastes and all desires.
