In Finistère, facing the Île-de-Batz, Santec is a seaside resort well known to lovers of beautiful stones and elegant beaches. Neighbouring the famous Roscoff, it has many, many walking paths, perfect for discovering its most beautiful faces. The state-owned forest, in the south-west of the commune, is perfect for gentle family excursions in the shade of fragrant black pines and holm oaks. Famous for being home to many rare plant species, including orchids and sea buckthorn, it has several walking trails, sports trails and quiet itineraries that link the village centre to the river Horn in the direction of the Dossen beach. The dunes of Keremma are also worth seeing: with their fantastically shaped rocks, they have fascinated young and old alike for hundreds of years. It is the perfect place for a short geological walk, trying to give human or animal forms to the granite rocks. By dint of your imagination, you may be able to distinguish in the rock the rock of the bed, the rock of the dog and many others, frozen for centuries facing the sea. Other circuits will be at your disposal: the loop of the Pouldu and its incomparable viewpoints on the fields, Roscoff and the Île-de-Batz, the Dossen circuit via the GR34, the circuit of the Celtic Cross ideal for cycling or the paths of the island of Sieck will be perfect to do with your family. Accessible at low tide, the Île de Sieck is the perfect place for a bike ride. With its 2-kilometre-long trail around the island, its old guard house and its old sardine cannery, this little corner of tranquillity multiplies the magnificent landscapes, especially on the coast, the Île-de-Batz opposite and Santec.

Just in front of the island, the Dossen beach stretches over 1.5 kilometres of fine sand. A particularly famous windsurfing, kitesurfing and surfing spot on the north coast of Finistère, it also attracts hikers, windsurfers, riders, joggers and swimmers. Particularly well exposed, it is also appreciated by many curious people at sunset, as are the beaches of Le Prat and Le Jugant located opposite the neighbouring islands. The Pouldu beach, well sheltered from the winds, is popular with families and sports enthusiasts who enjoy water skiing, kayaking, water walking, bodyboarding and paddle, as is the Theven beach, known for its Roc'h-Kroum archaeological site. The quiet beaches of Staol and La Roche will delight lovers of tranquillity thanks to their natural character, while the beach of Perharidy will delight hikers and other contemplative people thanks to the beauty of its panoramic views over the channel from which sailboats and motorboats emerge. All in all, the Healthcois coastline has 14 kilometres of beaches, which means that you're bound to find the perfect place to plant your parasol!
