Les Orres 1650, the first resort to be built (in 1970) near the village, overlooks the lake of Serre -Poinçon. This ski area nestled in the larch forests benefits from the exceptional sunshine and quality snow that characterize the Southern Alps. The Orres slopes are indeed the major tourist attraction of the domain. A hundred kilometers and are notably famous for the official competitions they host, and its high-level tracks had even been selected during the 2018 Olympic Winter Games. But no worries, is not reserved only for off-pairs skiers ! Besides, an area reserved for initiation allows beginners to make their first glides safely The Orres 1650 has also had a snowpark, a toboggan run and a skating rink for several years. But skiing is not the only activity of the resort ! Summer or winter, the Orres 1650 is a place full of life where holidaymakers will find plenty of ways to take care of. Lovers of snow, know that it is not necessary to put on skis to enjoy its whiteness. Discover the Orres and its surroundings on snowshoes or snowmobiles. Want to combine sensations and divine landscapes ? Let yourself be tempted by the sled dogs. Trailed by a team of 8 to 12 dogs, you will feel like in the Far North. Throughout this unforgettable experience, you will be one with the best friend of man.
In the summer, Les Orres 1650 changes its face and turns into a real active resort, between sports and pleasures. Go to the Mountain Office (in "La Bulle", in the center of the resort) to practice a large number of sports accessible to all. Climbing, mountain biking, via ferrata, rafting, tree climbing, water skiing... The many facets of the mountain have created an immense playground, exploited with respect by the man. For a good day out with the family, do not miss the Jungle Adventure Park. Accrobranches and climbing for the snake, paintball and airsoft to defy in good humor, labyrinth for the curious... We meet at noon in the picnic space to recover from its emotions. Note that the favorite attraction of children is the great zipline, perfect for recharging your thrills safely !

Great welcome at the pizzeria la dolce vita, fast service and staff attentive to everyone's needs, very nice with the children. The skiset store is top notch, the staff is very welcoming, very well organized! An incomparable lasagna dish at the butcher-caterer! I love the little clothing store, a must! Everywhere the welcome is very nice, you feel at home! Do not miss the fireworks and the torchlight retreat, hats off to you!

At 1800 the little Italian restaurant at the snow front is top and the menu will suit lovers of pizza, pasta, but also melted cheese! All this on a sunny terrace

Walking tour 1850 (path going up and return path signposted from underneath) great! Visit village Les Orres + visit village Les Gaillards, Les Augustins, St Sauveur, St André...not to be missed !

The Family Pass: very honestly, even when you don't use all the facilities (swimming pool, ice rink...) it pays for itself really quickly... it's really worth calculating on arrival.

Very good welcome at the restaurant "L'Orée des Pistes", as well for a pancake snack as for a meal with mountain specialities. Great panoramic sledge giving good sensations.
