In the heart of the Hautes-Alpes, the commune of Puy-Saint-Vincent extends on the massif of the Ecrins. This small village divided into three hamlets became a tourist resort of quality during the 20th century.In 1968, Puy- Saint-Vincent 1400 is born on the site of the Pres. Today, it is the family resort par excellence of the domain. Of the resort blends harmoniously with the traditional setting of the village, creating a set of great beauty.
The ski area of Puy-Saint-Vincent is perfect for ski lovers. The resort has about thirty varied trails, spanning 75 kilometers. Enthusiasts of new slides will be delighted to find a boardercross and a snowpark that provide thrills safely. For those who feel an adventurous soul, the area offers many off-piste opportunities in the surrounding forests or away from the resort.
A trip to the Far North, is it tempting you ? In Puy-Saint-Vincent, 28 kilometers of cross-country ski trails allow you to discover this sporting and entertaining discipline. Situated a little away from the alpine ski slopes, the Nordic area also gives the opportunity to see wild landscapes and untouched by man. What happiness !
Puy-Saint-Vincent 1400 also offers many other winter activities. Mountain guides who know the territory at their fingertips take you on snowshoes through the Ecrins national park. Surrounded by the silent and infinite nature, you will discover the fauna and the flora of high mountain and pierce the mysteries of the valley of Vallouise. If you are not afraid to take the height, do not hesitate to try the cascade of ice of 1400. It is actually a frozen stream that offers a gentle slope conducive to beginners making their first steps on the ice. Puy-Saint-Vincent already plans to extend this activity in the future by opening up more difficult slopes for climbing enthusiasts.
