The other major asset of Serrières-en-Chautagne? Being located barely 9 kilometres north of the magnificent Lac du Bourget. Easily accessible on foot, on horseback or by bike, Lac du Bourget is a must see during your stay in the mountains of Savoie. The largest natural lake in France, with more than 18 kilometers long, nestled in the hollow of the Bauges, the Mont du Chat, the Massif de l'Épine, the Chambotte and the Mont Revard, this enchanting place par excellence has by history inspired many souls, from painters to poets, novelists and photographers.
