A small village in Savoie nestling in the Aravis mountains, Bluffy is a true paradise of nature. An ideal destination for sports, contemplative, cultural and gourmet holidays, this community with its many assets attracts many curious people, both in summer and in winter, who are eager to taste its immeasurable charm.

Housed behind Menthon-Saint-Bernard, facing the marvellous Lake Annecy, the commune of Bluffy is... impressive. After this somewhat wobbly play on words, Bluffy is, it can be said, an ideal destination to enjoy the scenery and the numerous infrastructures around Lake Annecy, without suffering from the rush of lake towns. Spread out between 574 and 1800 metres above sea level, it is a formidable lookout point over the waters of the lake and the mountains that surround it. The mountains are one of Bluffy's most beautiful treasures: bounded to the north by Talloires and to the south by Annecy, Bluffy boasts magnificent peaks, perfect for country walks as well as for good sports sessions. The Dents de Lanfon dominate the village, as do La Tournette and the surrounding forests, which are perfect sites for climbers and other experienced walkers. For those who prefer a more leisurely stroll, there are numerous hiking trails on the side of the Col de Buffy, offering breathtaking views of the Château de Menthon-Saint-Bernard below and the lake, which is definitely at the centre of everything, to the delight of all hikers.

At the very beginning of the Aravis Massif, in Haute-Savoie, Bluffy is about twenty kilometres from the popular ski resort of La Clusaz. Famous for its authenticity and its beautiful snow cover, this resort, spread out between 1040 and 2470 metres above sea level, has 132 kilometres of downhill ski runs, divided into 24 green runs, 30 blue runs, 24 red runs and 7 black runs. 70 kilometres of cross-country skiing, a snowpark and a boardercross complete the offer for all levels of skiing and snowboarding. But the other detour to be made finally, passing through Bluffy, was obviously Annecy. Venice of the Alps, known for its lake, perfect for boat, paddle and pedal boat rides, but also for lazing around, paragliding excursions, gourmet tastings in its good little restaurants and its remarkable architectural charm, Annecy will be the icing on the cake of your stay in the mountains. Cultural, exotic, sporty and welcoming, this magnificent neighbouring city will never cease to make you want to come back and discover the splendour of the Haute-Savoie mountains again and again!
