With its 24 slopes of different levels, its Bob Park housing 2 toboggan runs and its boardercross, the resort offers various ways to enjoy the joys of snow. You can also take the time to discover nature by snowshoeing in the Vanoise park or by speed riding. Children can learn to ski in safe areas, have fun in the Kid Park and slide on the 450 m² ice rink located in the heart of the resort.
In summer, Valfréjus offers a new face and invites you to enjoy its exceptional natural environment in a different way. In the heart of the larch and spruce forest, take the hiking trails that will allow you to discover the Thabor massif, the Vanoise park, the lakes and glaciers and follow in the footsteps of marmots and large predators. In mountain biking, fill up your adrenaline in the Bike Park and on the routes specially designed for enduro or cross-country (La Déjantée, la Diabiolique...). But also have fun on the via ferrata course, in the acro-ludic park and along the Tyrolienne du Charmaix.
During your stay in Valfréjus, also discover the fabulous heritage of the region. In an impressive site, against the rock face of a narrow gorge, visit the Notre-Dame de Charmaix Chapel. Built in the 15th century, it shelters a mysterious black virgin to whom the legend lends many miracles. Also make a trip to Modane to admire the granite fountain, listed as a historic monument, the leaning house, the fort du Replaton, and extend your walk to Aussois to see the superb barrier of Esseillon. Don't forget to discover all the richness of the local gastronomy : fondue, tartiflette, raclette, gratin of crozets, blueberry tart, Savoy wines...
