Walking through the historic centre, you will be charmed by the alleys, the passages with arcades, the old residences and the 12th century Romanesque church, fortified by the Watchtower and listed as a historic monument. Continue your walk along the seaside and enjoy the Old Port, the Bonaparte garden, the Promenade des Bains and its casino and the lovely Santa Lucia marina. Between the Mediterranean and Provence, the dazzling natural environment of Saint-Raphaël will surely encourage you to take many walks. From the resort, several hiking trails will allow you to discover the splendid Esterel massif, its beautiful volcanic red colours and its curiosities : the Ours peak, the Rastel d'Agay, the Aubert pond. Cycling and mountain biking enthusiasts will not be disappointed and will be able to set off on the Balcons d'Azur, Malinfernet or Corniche d'Or circuits. The pizzeria in Jean Jean is a bit out of the way, but the pizzas are excellent, and the Latinos ice cream parlour was very good.

Very pleasant setting. Too bad that all the parking spaces have to be paid for. An advice go rather towards Agay much calmer than Saint Raphaël or Fréjus... and especially easier to park.

It is possible to park for free 3 blocks after the port of Saint Raphael: you may walk a little, but nothing is impossible!

The coast is superb to walk along: you can discover many small coves and the landscape is magnificent. For restaurants there is plenty to do.... People are very friendly and very communicative.
